DUSTY - 23' JT Gladiator Rubicon Build

Happy to share my build with the community here. It's been a blast so far and will continue to update this top post as it progresses. Feel free to ask any questions.

Step 22 - picked up a couple of their bags to test and determine which ones I will need for my gear.

Thanks Mike! After my first trip with the Tune, I'm really happy with it. My girlfriend and I had some amazing sleeps in it.

That 97 customs back seat delete is pretty sweet!

He did an INCREDIBLE job on it. It's lighter than Goose gear (and arguably better looking), and the hex designs on the side are for venting as I'll be installing a full Redarc Manager 30 under the passenger side. My dogs crate sits on top of the platform so it would be wasted space otherwise.

I just took the side panels off my seat delete. I thought I'd be fine, but it only took a few trips of having to move everything to open panel doors to change my mind.

We designed a side door on the driver side for that exact reason. My passenger storage space will house my Redarc electrical system, thus the stylish venting.

Ahh I see. I didn't catch the door on the drivers side.

I too have the AEV HD springs, and I'm currently concerned I wont get enough squat out of them with the weight of my rack and tent to fit in the garage, and seeing how yours sits with the TuneM1 and gear I'm even more concerned it's not going to squat at all

Well, you just sold me on the Baja Designs light bar!

DO NOT get these HD springs if you want squat. haha They are SOLID and I am VERY impressed. Sounds like you might need to air down.

Buy once cry once, but enjoy the look for the life of the vehicle. They make the Gladiator look pretty badass. Do you have the built in AUX switches?

Here is how I wired mine:
AUX 1 - Lightbar
AUX 2 - 2x LP6 Bumper (these are surprisingly bright)
AUX 3 - Ditch lights
AUX 4 - Rock lights (red to match the Rubicon theme)

Can you put a price tag on your build?

Great build. I will admire it from here. I am just going to hug my wallet a little, I am not financially firm enough for that list of goodies.. lol

Thanks for the question, I appreciate it, but I think I'd rather not. I'm not here to brag, just to share my joy with like-minded Jeep lovers in building something I've never done before, that may inspire another. While I am sparing no expense on this, I am VERY frugal in other areas of my life.

Fantastic looking build. Was your roof top tent in one of the first pictures an iKamper? Also, what load bars were you using with your smartcap?
