New Here!

Just picked up a new gladiator from Mississippi and drove it back to Alabama about 2 weeks ago.

Ordered so far:
-Mits Alloy tray bed replacement
-Sherpa Equipment Company Roof Rack and Adapt plates

still needs to becompleted:
-Finalizing the build out for the canopy (redarc electronics etc…drawers, drop down for a dometic)
-lookin hard at the tuff stuff overland alpine roof top tent
-lift tires (wanted to wait until I had the tray, canopy, roof top tent, and probably an awning, to see what the overall weight would be. And make sure it’s sprung correctly

here’s the bone stock pic
Won’t look this way for too long

Alright!!!
finally got the tray!
Super stoked on it. I’ll do a walk around here at some point. But the canopy is ordered and paid for. Won’t be here until mid-November which is alright. I’m working until 9november at Ft Campbell anyways. Slow progress. But, here’s the tray and the Sherpa Ec rack. One thing about the adapt plates if you get em. Ensure you don’t skimp on the hardware or else it’s insane rattle from wind 😆 I had to stop at buccees and bungee the absolute hell out of it.

Why the tuff stuff tent? Just curious. I know some people go with them because they’re MASSIVE and allows for better accommodations with kids

Cause it’s doesn’t just open like the typical RTT. You can open it like a wedge or open the front as well for a bit more room.
might go for a 51” so same tent Just 10 inches narrower. I wanna wait until I have the canopy on there to ensure I don’t have clearance issues, with an awning and the RTT or the roof rack on the vehicle itself
