Just wanted to share my take on the K.I.S.S. (Keep it simple stupid) seat delete. I hadn’t seen any one build theirs quite this simple. Full info in the video. Who else did a simple seat delete?

TJ nice work and keeping it real. For what some of the commercial products available is quite a few tanks of fuel. You might be saving some weight having fridge there vs seat weight too.

Good video but I wish you had shown how it’s mounted and what size hardware you used.

Sorry about that. Bolts are (2) M12-1.75 x 60 and (2) M12-1.75 x 90. They go in the same spots the seat is bolted to. Thought I mentioned that in the video

You did but I’ve never taken the seat out so I haven’t paid attention to the mounts. My bad. I keep my fridge on the seat but it would be nice if it was lower and level.

That’s cool. Pain in the butt removing the seat or just a few bolts? I’ve been eyeing doing something similar

Removing the seat is pretty easy actually. The factory bolts are some sort or large hex head but I found that a 6 point 11 mm socket worked perfect for taking them out.

Do you happen to have the dimensions of the build, or, did I miss them in the video?

I think I am going to do a 60% delete and move my fridge slide there :)

Looks good. What’s the total clear area you get? Is it the 38.5x19.5” or a little more? What fridge do you have? … looking at fridges now but want to maximize/balance fridge space with car seat and kid crap.

Go Niners!

Like it!

I've been wanting to trial run a 40% delete to build some kind of easy swing-down stairs/ramp for my pup but didn't want to get too involved (time-wise or financially) in a build I may not end up liking.. so this is inspiring to KISS and just go for it!
Thanks!

The usable area that you get is a bit more than that. I think it’s more like 40” x 20.5” depending on seat position.

The fridge is an Iceco JP50. I have a review video of the fridge on the channel if you’re interested.
