Pretty much runs the gamut: Southern rock , classic rock, bluegrass, outlaw country, country pre 2000, R&B. Favorites:
Waylon, Willie, Skynyrd, .38 Special, CCR, Bob Segar, The Dillards, Eddie Money, Flatt & Scruggs, too many to list really.

Foals - "Wake Me Up"
This song is excellent at making me be present to enjoy the moment. It was released in November or 21, but there's no mistaking the Talking Heads influence on the track

I’m an older fella(50) but my taste in music is pretty broad ranging. Any given day or all in the same day could range from from The Doors or Led Zeppelin to Metallica or Megadeth to Merle or Willie to N.W.A or Lil Jon. And in the rare occasion ya might even catch me listening to some yacht rock, brings back memories of listening to the radio before school in the morning to see if it was gonna be a school day or snow ball fight and sled riding til you couldn’t feel half your body

Matt Greiner doing his insane talent thing

Dude, Matt Greiner is amazing. As a lifelong metalhead and a "guitarist" for a couple decades, he gave me a certain appreciation for percussion. He adds so much depth to their music aside from just keeping a beat. Composure has been my favorite song for quite some time.

If you find yourself listening to Liquid Metal take the time to listen to "Of beasts and worms" by Allaegeon. Good stuff from fellow Coloradans ?

It changes over time... at the moment that sort of early mid 00s punk rock vibe,
Rise Against, Billy Talent, Millencolin, etc...

Modest Mouse, A Perfect Circle, Deftones, Chevelle, The Offspring. Maybe some Brand New if I'm feeling angsty or some Twenty One Pilots if I'm feeling poppy.

Have to sprinkle in some Run The Jewels and Aesop Rock. Aesop Rock is definitely a constant. I suspect the vast majority of the crowd in this forum isn't into hip hop as a genre but this guy's lyrical chops are undeniable. Here's just a short excerpt:

There are a lot of great bands/music in this thread!
For me it is Rush, Xanadu from Exit Stage Left.
I have been listening to this since I was 11, so it is a great way for me to test out a system.
