Username checks out.Had a new 5.7 dropped in my old '13 Ram at 5800 miles. Wrist pin failure and rod played peek-a-boo out the side of the block.

IIRC, that train derailment was early in the first few batch deliveries of the JT back in 2019.If anyone out west had ordered a new Jeep and was waiting on it. Wonder what the dealer told them. Sorry.......no new Jeep for you........

There was a thread or two discussing it here and a few here claimed theirs was on that train derailment. Jeep offered them either new built (with new VIN's) replacements or deposit refunds.
That train derailment started the conspiracy theory as one of the causes for why there was actually more than 4190 "Launch Editions" built because of few of them were lost in the accident.
