Hey All,
Thought I would do a quick review of the new @813 Fabrication & Design underhood mount for the ARB single compressor.
I posted in another thread that I was looking for an ARB compressor mount that would work with the 2022+ JTs that have the newer computer bracket. Jeremy, the owner of @813 Fabrication & Design, responded and he and I had a back and forth through DMs. He told me that he had a new bracket design in the works and offered to sell me one of his prototypes (at time of writing, these aren't yet available on his site). I shot him payment and it was in the mail next day.
Install was pretty straightforward. He didn't have any instructions written up yet, but he sent me a bunch of photographs that laid it out pretty clearly (and it's seriously only a few bolts).
I got everything wired up and finalized this afternoon and am very happy with the end result. The bracket is super solid and looks very clean. I can't speak to the other hoods, but I get no contact/rubbing with the Mojave hood.
If I could do it all over, I would have wired the ground for the compressor under the bracket instead of over it (because I have OCD), but that's nothing against the bracket at all, just how I wired the compressor.
Anyway, check out the photos. The prototype is raw aluminum, but Jeremy said the final version will be powder coated black.
(I'm not affiliated with 813 and I paid for the prototype.)
