So as I was playing around with everything in the gladiator....I came across this under the back seat.... I have no idea what it is or where it goes?
Any ideas?

It is the doohickey that connects to the watchamacallit behind the seat that holds the thingamagig in place. I am sure you could find it in the picture. :P

That's the part that keeps the crankshaft in the engine. oops....

I would chalk it up to left over assembly trash of some sort. There has been a few posts over the years both here and on the JL side of weird and unknow bits and pieces of plastic found like you have.

Unless it has a valid part number to reference, I would not put too much thought into it.

Not sure why it's inside the truck but that is a headlamp plug. Check the lights to see if one is missing. You wouldn't want to lose all the halogen or LED fluid.

At least it's not some assembly line guy's half eaten lunch stuffed under the carpet. :facepalm: Or the socket that was left behind the rear seat that rolled around for a few months. :facepalm:
