I just disagree completely. Below are the concept pictures I remember seeing and at the time I remember thinking I’d be very interested in having one if they looked like this. They don’t.

Jeeperjamie was right. But these concepts just no. Maybe it’s the wheels that are to modern idk but I think they did pretty good with the new bronco.

Aesthetics are totally subjective, and sometimes one can get use to almost anything as far as looks...But subjectively, the Bronco is too boxy for me and has no unique character. The Gladiator is quite the opposite on both accounts...

I was driving next to a Ranger yesterday, not a bad looking truck, but it just doesn't have anywhere near the "presence" of Gladiator, nor does the Ridgeline, or anything else in the mid--size class (as far as I can tell).

The F150 is a nice looking truck, and it does have a "presence" due to its size, but again not really distinctive in any way and way too big for my needs.

Jeep hit a home run with Gladiator - but it does cost-extra for a person to get this unique character and distinction, and obviously only those who want to move away from the crowd would be interested as such.

My father in law has a Ranger Lariat, nice little truck but not distinctive or unique in any way. It will look very dated in a few years.

There is a very good chance that Black Truck is parked like that, so it's rear bumper is not in the lane of traffic behind it and could therefore actually be a very good parking job.

I hate the 4 door bronco's. If non SAS and soft top, they are even worse

2 Door Bronco with SAS looks amazing.
Should we all know what SAS is?

Hey, I used to have a Ford Flex!:)

It was like a 365 HP AWD minivan, so it didn’t suck.
Me too. For a family truckster it rocked. I’m actually sorry I got rid of it as I had I early model. It will be a sought after classic soon enough.

I’m happy to see the Bronco back. I saw an OBX model with a Sasquatch package and it looked great. I will admit I dislike the hardtop Bronco for some reason. Soft tops on the Bronco look better to me. However, I adore my gladiator and it is perfect for my needs. I have had numerous Jeeps but it is great to see alternatives out there.

I had a Bronco reservation, which I cancelled when I saw one in person for 2 reasons.

1) the interior looked and felt cheap. Like recycled Tupperware.
2) most importantly - it didn't have the room I needed. I expected it to be a fair bit larger than the wrangler in the cargo area. It wasn't. One of my goals in getting this vehicle was to get something that would hold a dog kennel and hunting gear so I could stop using my wife's Volvo wagon for hunting trips. The Bronco wouldn't fit the kennel.

I was originally told that this color combo would be available in 2022. But you still can't get it. I think it looks really sharp.
It seems like the 2Door has more useable non People room

We have both.

I assumed in a Bronco thread people knew that SAS = Sasquatch Package = 35s, larger axles + lockers.
The fact that you can add that option to any model Bronco is amazing. The downside is, without finding one on a lot and paying a serious dealer mark up, you can't get a 2dr. I was a July reservation and ordered the day you could confirm the order. Then Ford completely changed their allocation system. I bought my Gladiator 1 year after I ordered my Bronco. Only took 46 days to get it.
My Bronco order still has not been produced

I've rode in my sisters-inlaws lower trim Bronco, and I'm really not impressed with the interior and ride to be honest.
Same no idea why press talked that up so much. It is standard ford fare. Not interested in one as a hardcore off road machine w/ no solid axle up front. Probably a lot nicer for long road trips, camping in easier accessed spots from my own experience with the f-150.

When our oldest started driving and only left two to cart around, I managed to talk my wife into an E63 that she now adores. If she had insisted to keeping the Flex I was planning to lower it on H&R springs and tune it. Then it would have really been fun!

I think the new Broncos look like FJ cruisers

IMO the Bronco is the torch bearer for the FJ. It has a better 4 door setup, better engines (arguably) and more variety. Other than that very similar in the approach to designing an off road vehicle. Funny thing is guys I know with FJs all want to SAS them.

Especially when they redesign the Ranger so soon after its relaunch..
