My 2021 Gladiator with the eco diesel engine suffered a catastrophic failure of the fuel system at just over 20K miles. The failure was quite sudden, while driving at low speeds the engine started making a terrible racket and completely died just as I pulled to the side of the street. The engine was completely inoperable and would not start. My understanding is that the fuel pump failed and sent metal shards throughout the fuel system. We were told that the entire fuel system had to be replaced. After about six weeks of Mopar not being able to get parts to our dealership, we traded it in. My understanding is that it took over three months for the repairs to be completed. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this with the new diesel engine?

My CP4 pump went out at 4000 miles... I'm the shop for over a month....
Replaced entire fuel deliver system from the tank to the injectors

When mine went it didn't make a noise, the motor just shut down... it was being in a noisy Cessna 172 and the motor quit, it just got real quiet
