I’d be happy at 65 but from the posts here the eco diesel derates on that same run empty… which leads to my efforts and the efforts of others to solve the oil temp issues. I never derated myself though, however I live in a cooler climate and no big time mountainsEnjoy the heat derate the ecoboost has when worked hard, just like the EcoD. The EB may have a slightly larger margin of tolerance, but I have a friend who's EB will derate when pulling his 20' trailer up the I-17 phx to flag at 70 mph.
simply said, anything with a small mass engine and a turbo will adds lots of heat when forced to work hard. No replacement for displacement......
