What do you guys use to touch up underneath jeep

I use RustOleum oil based brush-on semigloss black.

Brush on would be handy in certain situations. Does it require primer?

I love that it doesn’t “require” primer. Admittedly when I’m painting new pieces of raw steel, I prime them anyway. But for touch ups I like this stuff.

I just thoroughly clean the surface and brush it on. It holds up really well.

That's why I like it. I actually painted my complete axle assemblies front & rear with it. Just slather it on and it lasts seemingly forever.

Very cool. I kick myself after choosing to paint my diff skids to match the stupid billet silver body paint. I thought it was a fun idea until touch ups started soon after.

True that. Our 2011 FJ Cruiser has no rust underneath and we haved not done anything.

This is after 14 months, about 10k miles, including 1 full CT winter. After painting with RustOleum brush-on, I haven't done anything except an occasional rinse.
