What do you guys use to touch up underneath jeep

What do you guys use to touch up underneath jeep? I have sections underneath the black paint is rubbing off. Also the bars infront of the radiator, the black paint has come off.

Sounds like a job for black paint. Check the wind direction first.

My frame had some serious scratches on it from the factory - a lot of people do. I used Eastwoods extreme chassis black paint to protect it. Before that though use a good paint prep cleaner.

Then I put on 3 coats of amsoil HD metal protect to help prevent rust, along with some cavity wax on the inside of the frame and some parts of the body to also prevent rust.

In florida I dont worry about this, but when i lived in MN I would hit the frame on the FJ cruiser with a wire brush, and then a coat of rustoleum rust reformer.

hmmm to touch up underneath? These days, usually just my hands/fingers at first. When I was in the military it was a bit different :P

Yep, VHT. Por15 is also good. But it costs more. I use por15 for more serious jobs on older cars.

+1 for VHT. I have both the flat and gloss chassis paint. Depending on what I’m painting. The flat is a pretty good match for rock slide Engineering touch ups as well.
