Rear locker flashing.

And it happened to me. My rear locker light was flashing Aug 4th 2022 and a day later went away. A month later happened again then lasted about a week then went away so I thought it wasn’t warranted to call the dealer to take a look since no warnings lights were on. Last week rear locker light flashed and didn’t go away and actually displayed “service axel locker system”. I’m currently at the deal as I write this post and see what they say. I won’t give them any information at all so they can put the blame on me. See how it goes.

Most likely the sensor had oil weeping into it over a period of time. The sensor it not plotted inside.

There was a write up somewhere here on the forum about how to correctly pot a failed or new sensor. I have Eatons so not personally familiar but I have friends who've been there. Good luck.

So stopped by the dealer again and was just told they are backlog on work and will have to remain over the weekend until Monday to get it checked out. Is it a good idea to buy the mopar extended warranty?

Thanks for watching. I know I always wonder if this stuff really works. Not sure you can trust fancy “influencers” that get paid. This worked for me. Wish it was cheaper or that Jeep just made it right from the factory.
