Guys, my ADHD is going off, what steps should I get.

Requirements:
- I have a short wife (5ft 4) and a 9 year old (4ft 11).
- I want something to eventually go off road with
- I dont want to switch this out for my rock rails I have stock on my Jeep

Any suggestion would go a long way, so many options, I am very new to this life, so please point me the right direction.

Rock Slide Engineering slider steps. They’re amazing. Many others are likely to chime in as well. Pretty much everyone that gets them loves them. The steps go down when the doors open. A magnet goes on the door and sensors go on the b pillar.

I saw these and really considered them; however, I heard if they get beat up on the trail they fail?

Mine survived the rubicon trail with zero issues. I have the extra optional armor, but only added it right before the Rubicon. I scratched them, which I easily touched up, and put one minor cosmetic dent in one spot. They work perfectly. I’ve done tons of trails in Moab and Colorado without the armor. No issues at all there.

In fact, the pictures I shared are from after the Rubicon. After I’d touched them up. If you zoom in you can see the scratches under the paint a little.

From a step use standpoint, my wife is about the same height as yours, and we have kids (5 and 7) that can get in easily unassisted. And it’s lifted on 37’s.

White Kunckle sliders. Frame mounted, you get to keep the oem Rubi rails. These things are bomb proof.

I get why people like this style. It’s what I’d go with if I didn’t have little kids. Yes, they’re steps, but too high for little kids to reach easily, depending on the lift height. Actually, if I didn’t care about steps, I’d get next venture Motorsports rock sliders. I know of none that are even close to as strong.

My wife is 5'3" with Parkinson's. I put some non-skid tape on and she has no trouble getting in.
