I have no doubt. My kids are about 40” tall. Because they’re kids.My wife is 5'3" with Parkinson's. I put some non-skid tape on and she has no trouble getting in.

Sorry. I thought you were serious about that being a viable option. It was a joke.
I have a two-step stool just to get into my bed, but it’s really lifted. It was a joke.
Joke delivery on the Internet is always dead pan.Sorry. I thought you were serious about that being a viable option.
Did you have the armor? What generation? I’ve set them down on boulders, used them as pivot points, and slid the whole JT over boulders on them. I did that for three straight days on the rubicon. And they open perfectly.Joke delivery on the Internet is always dead pan.
But in all seriousness, I’ve been in the same boat. I really like the form and function of my steps, but they were basically the single point of failure in Death Valley. I may just upgrade to sliders at this point.

Got it. I thought you had RSE steps. Those have optional armor you can add for serious crawling. Not necessary for most moderate stuff, but is if you expect to hit them really hard.Sorry, which armor? And no skids. One of the steps landed on a rock and got dented. Overall these are just rock catching magnets.
Those are super nice.I have a 5 and a 7 year old and am myself a short dude so I understand your issues. I went with Poison Spyder rocker knockers with removable steps. They are frame mounted, and the steps install or remove in literally 30 seconds per step with a power drill. The insert that is red was painted by me it comes black.

I like these as a cheaper alternative to the RSE. For my lift, tires, regear, things are getting over 10k.Nfab Rock Rails with removal steps are you huckleberry. I love mine. High enough that I seldom even bother taking them off unless I know I’m going to go through a serious Boulder garden.
