No mainstream media shills will discuss it but it’s all over the internet. Foreign countries have been affected by it already and I suppose that’s where most of this talk has originated.
If it happens, it would also affect Gas that’s delivered in tanker trucks running on diesel.
Curious if anyone with firsthand knowledge can comment…

Have no idea how short the diesel is, but earlier this month I ordered a tanker load of diesel for my farm and it did not show up. Called my fuel guy he said the tank farm went dry and they should have some the next day. It did come the next day. I have never heard of the tank farm going dry befor, I do not see this as a good sign. It is the one in Sioux City and it is on the pipe line. I think supply is just keeping up with demand much like def, which is supposed to be short also.

I read about this back in June. When we when out to Lake Powell. I was checking on prices and come across an article that said they was low on diesel out west at that time. Now the northeast is suppose to be low on diesel.

Ive been following the fiasco thats coming for a while. No good at all. I actually saw diesel $2.50 MORE than 87oct. Which is never a good sign
When diesel goes up. The trucking costs get passed on. So everything is more money.

Not a troll but what are you going to do about it? Fuel shortages no matter the flavor are the new normal. With interconnectivity of the world now every little bump in the road becomes a sky is falling moment especially when scary headlines earns more dollars.........
Add in market manipulation for the sake of profit and political gains, what more do you need to become jaded and callus?

I first saw about it from a media organization a certain group in this country says is all phony news.
And I then got an email from another source that half the country laughs at.

I guess it's not helpful to some, so don't make it a headline LOL

Here's what one of the emails I got says =

The United States is down to 25 days of diesel supply as a top White House official declared the stockpile levels to be “unacceptably low.”

Data provided by the Energy Information Administration (EIA) show that diesel stockpiles are at their lowest level for October in records that date back to 1993, according to a Bloomberg News analysis. EIA data show that the United States, as of Oct. 14, has 25.4 days of supply—down from 34.2 days of supply four weeks prior.

National Economic Council Director Brian Deese, a top adviser to President Joe Biden, told Bloomberg News last week that current diesel levels are “unacceptably” low and that “all options are on the table” to increase supplies.

Everyone gets held up on the trucking industry with diesel. Don’t forget the impact on sea and rail transportation as well. Additionally, should the shortage look to be long term, I would guess government stock piles being grown for national security purposes with the military living off diesel derivatives.

A lot of things have been quite unstable in my area in particular. It has been encouraging a lot of folks to remember the days of old and be able to self sustain a basic life in order to at least just reduce costs. This is a pretty big problem that isn't going away anytime soon.

Sadly, it likely will have a negative effect on our joys of Jeep ownership, especially driving long distances and camping.

There have been fuel shortages with all types of fuel over the last 6+ months.

Diesel shortages have been more common lately.

I work for a group of companies and one of those has wholesale fuel operations. But I have pretty much zero insight on the future and can only tell you what’s happening today or in the past.

Refining crude into gasoline makes the by-product of diesel. How the hell can they be short on diesel? Sounds like a bullshit bluff.
How does a certain someone get pissed off that OPEC reduces production when they do the same thing in their own country about 2 years prior??
