No diesel, no gas. Semi tankers need diesel to run to deliver. We may all be parked soon.

No food. No heat. No crops harvested. Nothing. No diesel, no gas. Semi tankers need diesel to run to deliver.
Exactly.Definitely a nice setup, but how much more than a Rubi?
Anyone who’s wheeled with me knows I didn’t buy it for looks. This thread is a bit of deja vu from others. No doubt you can build a great rig from the ground up. But you can build a better one starting at rubi or Mohave. And for equal or less money, if everything is apples to apples. TN trails are a bit far from CO, but let me know if you’re coming out west next summer, or if there’s a mid point. Not being a jerk. I genuinely like wheeling with most everyone. Just got back from Moab on a trip with four other forum members. All good people on fantastic trails. And every rig was totally different. Yet we all made it through undamaged. Good teamwork.Okay, name it Dan, I’ll be your huckleberry.
From the factory, yeah your pretty close to being right. The Bronco is pretty good now though.
aftermarket is a LOT better than the sum of factory Rubicon parts though.
- ARB Lockers
- Aftermarket Suspension
- aftermarket sway bar DC’s
- aftermarket T-Cases
I have the wide axles
I have the 4:10 gears soon to be 5:13’s
I have 37’s
- the ARB lockers added very soon as well
- I’ll have the SwayLOC’s on soon as well.
so… let’s go Ruby Dan
Less than the $20K I saved by not buying a Rubicon.Definitely a nice setup, but how much more than a Rubi?
Ha, what warranty, put your rig in the shop for jeep to hold onto while they replace an entire axle in a month or two? No thanks, build it with better parts, avoid the dealer. Warranties are a joke for Jeepers that build their rigs..............and no warranty..........
you said it hemorrhoid, IMOP it is not smart.Hilarious! Now there's a new trim level, the Mensa Max Tow. Good for you smart guy! I guess I am just to stupid to realize I'm dumb.
If I was going to replace the axles with 60's and run 40"+ tires. I would start with a Sport. But I have no plans to replace the axles.Dan I was out there this summer and ran trails in Utah and Wyoming as well. I did not do MOAB which was hard as I passed through. I didn’t have the time. Next year maybe.
no you can’t start with a Ruby and build a better rig for less. If you are building a rig best start is not a Ruby or Moab if you want to save money.
Really to each there own. I like picking what I want and building the jeep as I figure out what it needs once I have the basics.
Thank you for the correction, you are awesome! ?you said it hemorrhoid, IMOP it is not smart.
jealousy abounds with the Max Tow for all you Rubifons. The Max is a much better start to a build. IMOP of course .
My rims are Rubifon take offs for $50.00. ?
don’t get me wrong I love the Rubicon, I know that it is a waste of my money to buy one though. I like the way my build is coming along on the Sport S…. Max Tow! ?
P.S. and it is spelled “too” as in too stupid, not “to stupid as you stated”
I resemble that remark ?and rubicon owners be like..
