So i just quoted USAA (member since 1988 - i hate victory captial) USAA quote is 11$ more per 6 months than geico for me. Which is closer than last checked years ago. I switched to geico in 2015 from USAA based on price

Wife and I are in are 40s, clean record. Have one 17 year old daughter with her own car.

No claims in 7 years.

Anyone else seeing insurance premiums rise? I had added a second Jeep and they quoted me (numbers rounded and simplified) $750 per 6 months for both Jeeps. Quote was from yesterday. Got an email today stating my renewal (Nov 2022) would increase my rates to $1000 per 6 months. I called, and was told "we have to raise our rates because everything is more expensive when we pay out for claims" - not because there were any marks on my account. Been with them for decades and am just ... stunned.

Any recommendations on which insurance company might not be either (a) scamming or (b) passing the buck onto the safe-driving consumer?

Last year I changed from USAA to State Farm GEICO would have been 1/3 less than State Farm's rate. I had been with USAA for over 25 years. But damn if I was going to pay over double what State Farm charges. Due to dipstick drivers that can land a egg on Mars intact. But can't drive to work and home without hitting 2 damn vehicles and a light pole. I watched my rates increase every damn year in N. AL. Due to so many stupid A## drivers that have USAA for insurance. I wanted to slap the S### out of many the dipsticks I had to go write a report on. Just stop texting and driving... ?
Having to do the report while seeing my rates increase due to stupid conduct. Let alone the jacka## that then argue the insurance company required a report on animal strike incident.... not unless you hit a dang cow.

My auto insurance jumped $130.00 a since last year through AARP and my home insurance through Farmers went up $460.00 since last year

Geico dropped me when they found out my TJ was modified.

Been with American Family since. TJ, Gladiator, Ram SRT10 and 91 Celica GT4 all full coverage is a whopping 1800 per 6 mo with a clean record, early 30s.

Making me think about downsizing my collection. Or looking into a specialty provider like Hagerty. It's not like I can drive all 4 at once...
