Thanks for this. I've been pulling that little flap up on mine for almost a year now. I'll just stuff it down in there from now on.
Hah. You are welcome. I figured I wasn't the only one.

- The section inbetween the bed and the tailgate constantly falls down in between hinged area and prevents the tailgate from closing.
See if you can shift the cover on the tailgate up a bit to take up some of the slack. I vaguely remember doing this.

My 20+ yr old truck has a bedrug which is still fine. It sits under a cap and the truck has been garage kept for most of its life. I hope the new one will do as well.

Out of curiosity, did anyone else's BedRug smell like cigarette smoke from the factory? Mine still stinks after a couple months of ownership and a few rounds of Febreze...
My BedRug had no smell at all except for my over abundant use of the adhesion promoter which dissipated after a few hours.

Mine smelled tHe same, my wife said she just smelled chemicals. I let it air out in the garage for a week before installing it and the smell went away. I have an AluCab canopy camper, so it is closed most of the time, the smell has not come back.

Hey Paul!
Any photos of the inside with it installed? I just ordered mine today for the Alu-Cab. I have had the floor only impact version for awhile but wanted to add the full carpet version to better insulate the interior.

i can send some more tomorrow if you have something specific you want to see.

If you look on the back of the side pieces, there are template lines for the bed lights.

Wait....what?

Mine doesn't close if it's down in the gap...what am I missing?

You gotta be a little forceful with it. It will close, even if it doesn't feel like it would.

Looks good. What rails are you running?

I recently had my ARE cap installed along with a Bullet Liner, full BedRug, and Cap-Pack. Love the whole package so far.

Mine initially had a very chemical/new car smell to it, but that has since been surpassed by the smell of me throwing a gutshot deer in there.

You are absolutely right. I installed the front one only as I don’t think I have the need for side ones, for now at least. I installed v-rings instead.
