Has anyone tried successfully to schedule this repair ? The information I have is there is a recall but there are no replacement parts available for the diesel high pressure fuel pump.

I called service dept at my dealer. They told me parts are unavailable and they would let me know.
I won't hold my breath. I'm still waiting for the steel steering box for my 2020 JLRD

My VIN isn’t included in the recall which is fine.

Called two dealerships, one in Washington and one in Montana. No parts available ? I guess notification of a Safety Recall even though there are no parts available, must eliminate some liability for MOPAR

i see ZERO threads in regards to that 6x6?? Or 5x6? (Angle of the photo….)

I doubt parts will be in the dealer hands anytime soon…. Shooting for mid 2023….

has anyone gotten a confirmation of the pump that they will be installing?? Is it another CP4?? If it is that sucks-in one hand I might have a hand grenade for a fuel pump- in the other I might have a putts tearing into the Jeep and get more than just another new grenade installed…..

What kills me is when you try to sign up for alerts when parts are available all you get is this....and it's been this way for weeks since I got the letter. so @JeepCares how about you get a working site to sign up for the parts notification? Unreal

I am not sure if the letter stating no parts available really reduces liability b/c it does NOT state to stop using the vehicle in any way. The BOLD text about loss of power just means "Drive at your own risk but we are not telling you to STOP driving". Mine has only 16k miles on it daily driving around town, but always useless when they tell you there is an issue that has no fix yet.

Unless you schedule an appointment for Q3 2023 there is no fix yet. They will continue to use the same faulty pump until then.

Not having a immediate solution is only going to cost Jeep more money. Once the pump takes a shit the whole fuel system has to be replaced.

Yeah based on the fact the fuel flow issue is caused by "debris" no doubt.

Is there any known inspection to even determine if it's "started" failing? I mean I get parts are not available but some way to see if it's in the process of failing is still useful to just determine to park it or not or how extensive the failure process might be. Just thinking "some" information is better than none. Thoughts?
