Was hoping to hear if anyone has experience with the Tyger rollup cover specifically for the Gladiator. The popular Tyger roll ups for the Colorado look great except the Colorado's rear corners are a little more "squared up" vs the Gladiators more rounded contour. The part numbers are different and the price is higher but was wondering if the Gladiator specific one is actually shaped different at the rear corners. Two calls to Tyger and they couldn't tell me the difference!

The Tyger roll up covers have developed quite the reputation as a durable, lower cost bed cover for not only Gladiators but many other trucks as well. I am just trying to find out if the one being sold as specifically for the Gladiator (TG-BC1J9060) is actually shaped differently at the rear corners than the one sold for the Colorado (TG-BC1C9012)?

I bought the Tyger trifold model specific to the JT (TG-BC3J1060) and it fits fine in the corners. I mean it doesn't follow the contours of the bed since that bows slightly and the cover is square, but the rubber weatherstripping seals the back end just fine. I would assume the rollup behaves in the same manner. Sure the JT versions might be a few bucks more, but it was worth it to me in case the spec was a little different than the other truck beds.

Appreciate the info on the Gladiator specific tri fold fit but I am kind of sold on the soft roll up covers. It does seem like the tri folds are the more popular choice though. Having never had a truck before, let alone a bed cover, maybe I am missing some

It depends on what you want. The trifolds are nice to flip the panels out of the way quick, but generally they leave a 1/3 of the bed covered unless its removed. The roll up covers allow nearly the entire bed to be uncovered, but IMO are a bit more cumbersome to use. I plan to get an inexpensive roll up for mine, just not sure which one yet. This thread might lean me to Tyger if we can get more input.

Just reread your Gladiator specific thread. I had read it before but did not realize it was the same cover I was asking about. So "thru caution to the wind" and ordered it. Direct from Tyger they threw in a bottle of cleaner/protectant and a 5% off code, so $236.xx. So does it actually have 3 brackets per side and since you have actually gone through the install, any tips or warnings? Any issues popping open by itself? If mine looks as good as yours, I'll be more than satisfied!

Just noticed the plate in your pics. I'm in East Mesa. If close maybe we could meet for a coffee and compare bed covers lol. Nice Mohave. Sport S w/Max Tow here. Had a 2014 JK Rubicon until Nov. 1st when a young girl made a left turn in front of me. Totaled the Rubicon but at least I am healing up pretty quickly. Pretty lucky really!
