Yes, correct - 3 brackets per side. No huge tips other than expect the rails to look odd until you roll the cover down. They do taper towards each other as you get closer to the tailgate. As long as you install the "A" bracket at the "A" location on the railing and do the same with "B" and "C" it will turn out well.Just reread your Gladiator specific thread. I had read it before but did not realize it was the same cover I was asking about. So "thru caution to the wind" and ordered it. Direct from Tyger they threw in a bottle of cleaner/protectant and a 5% off code, so $236.xx. So does it actually have 3 brackets per side and since you have actually gone through the install, any tips or warnings? Any issues popping open by itself? If mine looks as good as yours, I'll be more than satisfied!
Glad to hear you're healing quickly! I'm in the Tucson area, so if you're in so AZ anytime soon let me know and we can meet up.Just noticed the plate in your pics. I'm in East Mesa. If close maybe we could meet for a coffee and compare bed covers lol. Nice Mohave. Sport S w/Max Tow here. Had a 2014 JK Rubicon until Nov. 1st when a young girl made a left turn in front of me. Totaled the Rubicon but at least I am healing up pretty quickly. Pretty lucky really!
I replaced mine with a product from the French Store, Ho Me' De Pot. A section of gray pipe insulation - pool noodle. Had to stick my pinkie up upon install. No cover removal.Well it appears I may have been a bit premature in my new bed cover joy! Apparently when I was getting everything lined up, I knocked the foam strip that sticks to the front bed rail loose and found it hanging between the bed and the cab. It wasn't really thick enough (3/8") to seal the gap anyway. Ordered and already received some 1" x 3/4" foam off Amazon. MUCH higher quality than the Tyger provided stuff. Unfortunately install of the foam strip requires starting all over! Will report my results tomorrow probably.
Why don't you go for Bestop? Closest to OEM but much lower price.Appreciate the info on the Gladiator specific tri fold fit but I am kind of sold on the soft roll up covers. It does seem like the tri folds are the more popular choice though. Having never had a truck before, let alone a bed cover, maybe I am missing some
Interesting. I didn't get that with mine. It does collect a lot of dust. Would a protectant help with that or make it worse? I've been assuming it would make it worse. As a side note, I did spray and wipe the cover down with the Tyger Cleaner/Preservative they included. Pretty strong floral like smell but it did seem to leave a nice streak free protective coating. Probably similar to a 303 protectant.
