I am in the Huntsville area. Are there any dealerships yous recommend to work on your vehicles and do a proper job? I don’t mind traveling for good work and reputation. Also any recommendations for non dealership work for lifts and mods?

If you're already that close and don't mind driving, come to Nashville. Check out Music City 4x4, great group of folks to work with and well known around here as one of the 'go to' places for everything 4WD. https://www.musiccity4x4.com/

Thanks! I frequent Nashville a lot and I would be willing to make that trip for good work. I will check them out.

Off-topic: your location says "Near Nashville" - where exactly are you located? We're looking at moving there in a year or so and we've seen some homes in the Smyrna area. We've also looked in the Murfreesboro area - but we're not sure where we want to end up, other than being fairly close to Nashville.

I currently live in Cane Ridge, 2 exits up the interstate from Smyrna. Which is about 25 min out of Nashville (with the traffic on this side of town).
Smyrna is great, small town, still 'growing up' but not too big or over priced yet. I'd consider it for a move.
Murfreesboro is a college town, MTSU is there and that town grew up quick, traffic is crap.
Mt. Juliet is my hometown, love it to death but everyone discovered it and it's getting to the point where I feel it's crowded in some areas and over priced.
I'm looking at Lebanon for my next move or close to there. A little past Mt. Juliet away from Nashville, but is a great small town.
Hendersonville and Franklin are both very nice areas of town but pricey, McMansions everywhere. But we live in a you get what you pay for society, including housing, they tend to have the best infrastructure out of these towns. (Roads, EMS, Schools, etc.)

Depends on what type of area you want really. I grew up here, so if you have any questions feel free to ask.
All of those mentioned above I've lived at or have experience in and are within 30 min of downtown Nashville, as that is really my criteria for when I move as I go to Nashville frequently for Predators games. Good luck on planning your move!

The "Rocket City Wranglers" club is very active on Facebook.

Per discussions I've seen on there, the local Landers-McLarty is hated and Cullman is the go-to for dealership work.

Thanks! I made an appointment with Cullman for a warranty issue with a squeaking seatbelt driving me crazy looks like the plastic bushing where the guide bolts to the height adjuster broke and is rubbing. Good catch on yous. It sneaked in there.
