Haven’t folded up yet but yea I believe windows off first. Been busy with house stuff, haven’t had time to mess with it too much, apologies. Thanks for the pics! Looking forward to seeing how this folds and with the windows up or removed etc. I assume the windows have to be removed before folding?
Cheers
All good no worries! I can certainly relate to real life happening!Haven’t folded up yet but yea I believe windows off first. Been busy with house stuff, haven’t had time to mess with it too much, apologies.
No it is fixed. Kinda wish it did but it could possibly catch alot if wind.I'm curious. Does the front panel roll up or is it removable at all? I run my fly rods into the cab through the window (much cheaper than a rod vault), but that front panel would get in the way.
That's a bummer. In my opinion, this is the best looking option of the few soft tops.No it is fixed. Kinda wish it did but it could possibly catch alot if wind.
So 2 months later I finally gave it a bath and only a little water came in from the sides when the pressure washer blasted water in the front corners. Even less in the rear corners. I’m sure would be solved with whatever sealant people use for these. Regular rain downpour never got in tho. I apologize for the late response on this. Still loving it tho. Haven’t had to fold It back yet but the rear rollup window has came in handy. Stands up to 70-80mph freeway driving. Nice and tight.Awesome! Looking forward to seeing how waterproof it is (though you live in the desert lol) and general functionality of the windows and how it folds.
I'm also on the fence regarding side windows vs solid sides. I will say they look like they have a really dark tint so I might be okay with it.
Cheers
Still lovin it. Keeps all my gear dry in the rain, survived 2 weeks in Oregon in days of constant rain kept things dry. It’s holding up to the Vegas sun so far. No complaints at all. It’s a lot lighter than a fiberglass topper. Also love how easy it folds for when I need to load anything taller. At 1000 bucks it was a lot more economical than a fiberglass(3500-4K) as well. Looks better than the other soft toppers as well. The one complaint is probably the windows getting dusty quick and then harder to see out of them, specifically the back one. But I rarely wash my truck so it might be a user error lol even then it’s still visible and not to big of an issue, just wanted to mention the only thing I remember complaining about once or twice. Great product overall. How are you liking the outlander now that you have had it for a little while? Any regrets vs. going the hard top or soft topper (brand) route? Thanks!
Awesome, thanks for the update! Looks rad and thinking of adding one myself.Still lovin it. Keeps all my gear dry in the rain, survived 2 weeks in Oregon in days of constant rain kept things dry. Thanks for this post! I am looking for a bed topper for trips down to the beach this summer to give the dogs a bit more space in the bed rather than the back seat. I’m going to be taking the topper completely off except for a weekend or two each month because I normally ride without doors or the Top on.Still lovin it. I believe so. Mine has been a little over a year and still perfectly fine. Keeps rain out and survives vegas heat. It’s been a great buy so far ? I’ve kept mine on 24/7, but I have folded it here and there and ride with the back flap rolled up often when I have long cargo. Thanks for this post! Do you feel this is durable enough to be completely installed, removed and stored fairly often?
