I asked earlier what the deal was with the holes in the bed by the tie downs. I'll plug them. Thanks to those who answered up!
What in the wide world of sports is the 1 1/2" x 3" hole in the bottom of the tailgate about? One tiny cable to the lock, camera, and taillight doesn't need that. Why isn't there a plug for that hole installed at the factory? Any other make would have. Here's the deal: Carry pea gravel, grass clippings or whatever some of your load will end up in the tailgate. How ya gonna get that out? If the tailgate were steel-rust, if it is aluminum get corrosion. If it's rock get rattles. Not to mention that that is the perfect house for mice and rats...nice smell and back to the rust/corrosion thoughts. Rodents WILL find it. C'mon Jeep, WTF? I will be closing mine up to keep the load out, the rodents out, and prevent cable chaffing.
