I just installed SteerSmart Yeti teack bar, drag link, and tie rod. Very happy so far. Jeep drives completely different. YUGE improvement. I also installed SteerSmarts Sectir Shaft Bearing Support.

The TeraFlex had a good deal on Amazon but I missed it. So I’m back to doing a little research. Any recommendations?

Well I replaced the ball joints. It drives much better. But, still squeaks ?

I had the same which led to the third gearbox (second black steel gearbox). The bolts were loose from the first gearbox replacement. This Also lead to damage of the sector gear.
After installation of new gearbox by Jeep, I added a SteerSmarts Sector Shaft Bearing kit. I’m hoping this helps with the multiple steering issues on this Gladiator.
I had the wander/loose steering, slight bump steer, so my aluminum gearbox was just replaced w steel last month less than 500 miles ago(at 32k miles). I got my first death wobble ever this past weekend. Weird since it never happened with the aluminum and nothing else changed. I’m under checking all my suspension torque and ball joints(all good) and then it occurred to me to check the gear box bolts. They were at about 60 ft lbs? First went to 75 and they turned quite a bit. Then went to 80. I was a lil worried going past that but I’m hoping that was it. I’ve found posts saying 99ft lbs but I’m skeptical that value was for the aluminum box with the nuts. Do not want to strip the threaded pump. Can anyone confirm the steel box torque specs? Thanks ?

I installed a sector bearing bracket, new bolts came with the kit. Looks like 44 ft lbs +135°.

Better do more research or call Jeep.

I highly recommend the Sector Shaft Brace/Bearing.
