I think I'm going to pull the trigger on a ball joint delete kit, and it just makes sense to do the knuckles while I'm at it. I'm running a 2.5" Clayton Overland plus kit with a 1/2" spacer up front along with RPM 2.5 ton steering. I know these kits over deliver on their lifts, so I'm probably right on the edge of the height that would be required for a drag link flip. Trying to decide if I should order the knuckles for a flip or not.....

No flip, on the jl and JT you need more like 4+ inches of lift to make a flip worth it is the general consensus. With out that much lift you will need to severely limit your up travel with bumpstops to keep things from hitting each other.

Let us know what you think of the deletes. They are becoming quite popular ...

No Flip for me.. I have the 3.5" Clayton and the RPM 2.5 ton steering stuff, and I still decided against it because of the loss of up travel. I was planning on going with Dynatrac ball joints, but, mine are still good at 53K miles and lots of off-roading. If you go with the ball joint deletes, let us know how you like them.

BTW, check the tension on your steering stabilizer to the RPM clamp. Mine came loose after 1 year, and I thought the looseness was due to my ball joints. After removing the steering stablizer and re-tightening the connection using blue locktite, the loosness is completely gone. Make sure to let the blue locktite dry overnight.
