You absolutely should. I'll tell you anything you want to know about the area. It's beautiful and will always be my home. I grew up in Lovell, moved back after I got married and raised my own family there, and currently reside in neighboring Fryeburg to be closer to the Academy for my kids. My daughters were the 8th generation of my family to graduate from Fryeburg Academy and my son will as well. There are really two Maines; the coastal, and the vast and rugged interior, which is what Henry David Thoreau wrote about. Each special in their own ways.That’s on my list of places to check out- Naples, Bridgeton, Lovell, Harrison etc. I’m right on the Ma/ NH border and have never really spent any time in the Maine Lakes region. Looks nice from what I’ve read online. I’d love to hear some input from a local. Ive been to the NH Lakes region but not Maine except the coast
