Motobilt Skid Plate System Installed - Armored Up

Well thank goodness Motobilt sends treaded bungs in the install kit. The factory person who put on my mopar ones used so much lock-tite they stripped out on removal. Hince the thank goodness to Motobilt shipping a great kit.
So we got full skids on BabyRex so when it hits the trails we aren’t damaging anything. Only mod or tweak is for my aftermarket exhaust with one of the hanger brackets. Otherwise great install and product definitely recommend. I went with the steel skids and powder coated them jet black to match the rub rails.

Is does look awesome. Im thinking about this myself. Any opinions on heat retension with these, due to airflow disruption? I have the diesel, and the oil temps are already stupid

Not yet it’s just now starting to heat up in TEXAS I’ll be watching my temps to see how much they change.

Looks like it hangs down really low, might just be the angle. Would certainly like to compare this against the next venture skids, I gained maybe an inch of clearance with that system and the plastic stuff is amazing over the rocks.

This was on the Trail Terminator in AZ and there were no heat issues.
