We have some Currie Extreme 60's showing hopefully next week and need to get the e-locker switches figured out. Currie has said that we are unable to use the factory Rubicon switch as it does not provide constant power to the lockers and doing so would void warranty. Has anyone heard this? If so, what are you guys using to wire these up? I'd prefer to not get another switch panel as I wouldn't need anything but the two for the lockers. We do have the auxiliary Mopar switches and they said we could use those, but its a shame that the factory locker switch would go unused. Any recommendations would be helpful!

If you need constant power have the momentary power from the switch activate a relay that provides constant power to the lockers.

Correction: I just heard from them and it’s that they don’t receive ENOUGH power from the switch. It will only allow the locker gears to be engage partially due to limited power and thus causes locker gear failure.

This would work with low power also because you would be pulling battery power to the locker via the relay.

I have emailed ZAuto's engineer to see what he says. Again, from what Currie has recently told him, it wouldn't be constant power as I had mentioned before, but enough power. Their lockers would be high voltage lockers that need more than 12V that the ZAuto harness provides.

it's likely a eaton e locker as there aren't many others for the dana 60.

here are the install instructions,
https://www.eaton.com/content/dam/e...ocker_Installation_Instructions_July_2004.pdf

it just sez it needs 12 volts, not how many amps are needed. instructions seems to pull from battery, so the factory switch connected to a rely that then sends battery power to the locker may work.

seems to be a bunch of installation videos for the system, watch them and see where they are pulling power.

requiring anything over 12v would be silly on a automotive application since no light duty trucks run 24v.
