"Groaning" sound in the front end (like something shifting/moving); where to look first?

Hey guys,
Appreciate anyone taking the time to read this!

Long story short(er), I was in a not-at-fault, head-on and rear-end collision in May of 2022 in my stock 2022 Gladiator Overland 6MT; edit: ODO now at ~12,500mi.

After getting the vehicle back Sep 2022, I noticed a very minor, infrequent groan or "clunk" sound in the front end. It (usually) only happened in a very specific instance--when reversing down my driveway, which starts flat and then sharply drops into a turning decline. This and the way it worsened with time leads me to think it doesn't like weight being shifted on/off the front end when turning the wheel. Sounds like two heavy, unlubricated pieces of metal shifting a tiny bit under a lot of friction.

In the last month it started happening MUCH more frequently. It's still worse when weight is shifted front- or rearward, i.e. speeding up and slowing down 5-30mph while turning the wheel, but in much less extreme/specific scenarios. Ex. normal driving down a slight hill with a gentle curve. I can also now feel it through the steering wheel. The steering doesn't feel any more floaty than usual, but could be that I'm just not detecting it due to its gradual nature. Seems like it has less of a tendency to do this when applying the brakes, but I'm not ready to say that variable's 100% isolated. The front end shocks are also now really squeaky and annoying over minor bumps, but seem okay functionally.

Did a quick hand-check when changing my oil on Monday and didn't find anything. I'm on crutches from surgery this past May to fix stuff from the accident, so getting under there is a little difficult lol. Also, I've done most of any vehicle work myself but am by no means an expert... definitely could be missing something obvious.

I have an appointment with a dealer tomorrow to try solving it before a 1000 mi road trip next week, but anything I should check first on my own? Thanks again!

Similar thread; I guess I should re-torque with an actual torque wrench and see what happens before spending $200 at a dealer. I was mainly concerned with doing a bunch of damage inadvertently with all the driving next week, but it's probably fine if I torque everything down.

Suppose I have some torque specs to hunt down in the manual tonight...

Re-torquing is where I would start. I had a similar noise in my front end (wasn't in an accident but had added a lift at one point). Spent a few hours tightening and the noise went away. There were several bolts that I was able to add a few turns to. Sounds like maybe when they put things back together they may have not fully torqued everything?

Echo for the re-torque. If that doesn't help I'd check the shock mounts, then the control arm bushings, etc.

Might be worth spraying some lubricant in the sway bar bushings in addition to re-torquing as others have recommended. Had a groaning sound at slow speed when my JK’s suspension would cycle and resolved the what sounds like a similar noise.
