Carmax will gladly pay for ANY item that came from the factory with the Jeep. Mine was missing the tool kit too. Ordered it along with a front plate mounting kits from the jeep dealership, emailed them the receipt, and they sent a check out asap

I would look into making your own toolkit, the Jeep one is neat - but the metal doesn't go all the way through the rubber handle. I ripped mine in half trying to use a pipe around the handle for leverage.
OK I'll bite. What on earth where you tightening or looseing? Nothing that tool kit is designed for should be that tight.

Actually yes, the kit includes the bit for the door hinge. Which was so seized I ended up taking it to my local machine shop to have it tapped/drilled.

I will add, I have significantly better socket wrenches. Why I chose to use that one IDK. ?

Oh snap, never had that problem, they usually come out pretty easy. I take them out in spring and put them back in fall. Was it seized to the threads or the hinge liner?

Not totally sure, on my JK they were stuck to the liner and worked great once I got rid of them. This one pissed me off so much I tried an extractor on it, so by the time I got to the machine shop it was a half inch deep crater without a spec of surface to work from. haha

One last update. Got the manual from ebay and torx kit from Amazon and Carmax has already sent me a check for both.
Thanks for all the chatter. Good stuff.

One thing I noticed on my 2022 Overland with the Jeep kit is that the ratchet has quite a small head on it. You can easily mar the head using a typical size ratchet; the rubber handle adds protection if it slips and you slam the tool into the door. I suppose my 1/4" drive snap-on would be nicer, but the head is a hair larger.

Bottom hinge bolt goes on easily on all 4 doors. The top hinge bolts are quite a bit tighter.

Did you get your Freedom Panel Storage Bag? Double check your build sheet as that is usually an item that fails to get turned in with a vehicle at trade in.
