That’s awesome. I got my first one after about 2 years of ownership. I was more excited than I expected to be lol.

I know some people think it’s silly but I was stoked. Got my first duck yesterday from a nice couple in a purple 4xe JLU.

It’s the little things in life. ?
Pics, or it didn’t happen.

Congrats on first duck - that’s always a special moment.

My wife gets mad/jealous when my JTM gets ducked, mainly b/c ppl don’t tend to duck her HA nearly as much. Also, it tends to go better if the Jeep receiving the duck already has some ( going to a good home ). As an example, my wife recently ducked a wrangler that had some Star Wars themed things on their dash, and I guess they didn’t appreciate the duck very much b/c they threw it on the ground and drove off.

I think you're either into them or your not. Not my cup of tea. I'll bring them home to the kiddos or give them to my wife's school for their store. We have the wave...that's enough.

The other day I parked next to anew rubi gladiator, still had temp tags. I ducked it. When I got back to my Mojave, the duck was sitting on m y tonneau cover. I guess they were not into the ducks.

I am not into ducks but that is pretty rude. Why not just re-duck someone else if you don’t want it? That is my plan—find it a good and loving home. It may make someone happy.

I thought that it sounded silly, but when I got my first duck, it made my whole day.
Yeah, that’s the spirit. One time I had 2 twin boys, knee high to a jack rabbit, come up to me in the Home Depot parking lot, each with a duck in hand. Their mom had told them that it couldn’t just be any Jeep, it had to be one that was “worthy”. Of course that made my day ( and made my wife jealous at the same time ).

Some people are jerks... whatchagonnado? Obviously, not everyone is into ducks, so I only duck them if they already have one or more on their dash. As others have said, I also thought it was silly... until I got one. It's harmless fun and it makes your day when you get one. There is SO much negativity in the world today... what's wrong with a kind/fun gesture? I don't understand people who get downright offended if someone dares to place a duck on their Jeep. It's literally the definition of harmless. If you don't want it, calm down and give it away.

My first (an only) duck was July 2021. It lives a happy life bouncing around my dash as I bounce the truck around the woods.

The people who get offended at a nice gesture are the same ones who bitch about how nobody is nice anymore. Ignore them and their sad lives. I find as I get further down my personal road that it makes my day no matter what if someone makes a sincere kind gesture, no matter if it's my "thing" or not. And I ignore those that don't accept kindness. I don't need to hang on to the resentment or annoyance, it's their life and they can be as unhappy as they choose to be.
