Instant MPG disappeared from Fuel Economy screen on instrument cluster display.

I had this happen once before but it cleared itself up in a day or so, but this time it's been multiple days since the instant MPG disappeared from the current fuel economy page. Instead of showing range below and left of the gage and instant MPG low and right of the gage, it only shows range centered below the gage.

The only variable is I have a Tazer JL Mini installed so I don't know if I've accidentally pressed a button sequence or if there is even a setting to change this.

Anyone ever have this happen and know how to fix?

I would bet a cold beer it is probably related to the Tazer. There has been a smattering of threads talking about cluster menu weirdness and the use of a Tazer has been a common theme.

Mine is the same way as you described. Also have a mini but just ignored it. Doesn’t really bother me

No tazer and i had mine do the same thing this summer. came back after 2 days on its own.

Odd… mine also did the same and eventually came back but it’s been gone a good 2 weeks at this point, maybe longer.. I’ll unmarry the tazer today and see if I can get it back.

Maybe a tazer reboot would bring it back?

I actually did that this morning while changing some settings, but it did not bring back the instant MPG.

Mine has disappeared and reappeared several times. No razer on mine, so that's not the cause. Software glitch somewhere in the Jeep OS.

No, this is different. One page is supposed to show the gage, range, and instant mpg. The other only shows the gage.

My current mpg isn’t displaying today so I came to this thread to see if anybody found the solution.
My wife has been driving it the last couple days but I don’t want to automatically blame her.
I’ve been checking the setting options but so far haven’t been able to find anything obvious.

I just decided to run it as one of the upper gauges to keep track of it.

Fun fact... my wife's GC TH did this to her last week, no tazer. Solution was to go left and right a few times.. and it eventually reappeared.

Wondering if a software update came down and borked something across the lineup.

That's what I am thinking. I've tried a bunch of button combos that I could have accidently done while driving but nothing has worked. From the sound of it I'll just have to live without until it decided to come back.
