Tazer mini question

If you install a taser mini will it tell you your present gear ratio after its programmed? I'm asking cuz I bought my Gladiator used with a lift and 35s but the dealership had no idea if it had been regeared. I doubt it has and I'm planning on 4.88s but just wanted to confirm present gear ratio and wondered if the Tazer would show it... Thx!

The Tazer might show you if it's been reprogrammed, but it won't know what gears are actually in it. It just knows what it's been told. If you suspect it has been re-geared and want to confirm, you'll have to look at the gear itself. Then you can use the Tazer to make sure the programming matches.

Or jack up the axle, manually turn the driveshaft exactly one turn, and count how many turns of the wheels you get.

So if it was regeared then reprogrammed for the new gears it would show that ratio?

I can confirm that the Tazer will show prior programmed tire size inputs from other devices like AEVs since that data isn’t stored in the Tazer itself. Gear ratios are probably similar in this regard.
