Been working on this about a month now...and it has been a trying and frustrating installation and customer service experience.

Ordered Next Ventures bumper on June 5th. $1200. Finally delivered 9/1 -- 13 WEEKS!!! From their website: "Estimated Lead Time: 5-7 weeks".

https://nextventuremotorsports.com/...ont-bumper-adventure-series-factory-foglights

2 sets of instructions on their website...still both posted after I mentioned it.

Luckily found the 'most correct' one. I say 'most correct' because during emails with Customer Service, I'm given conflicting information that differs from the posted installation instructions. The instructions even say to install the fog lights before the bumper. Let me say that if I'd done that the inside bolts would not have been easily accessible. I'm all about universal joints on sockets, when needed, but more than 2 is too many.

Both retained here for posterity:

I've had to take off the bumper and put it back on twice, due to the "retained" bolt installation design and bad directions. Note the scratches in the thin powder coat on the tow hooks, from working the retained bolts into their holes. I've had powder coating before, but never have simple scratches occurred.

I am basically at a full stop at this point and am being told to use more hardware than I was provided, so after $1200, I'm going to have to buy my own grade 8 hardware and try to salvage this purchase.

I opted for no stinger, to have no obstruction of the trail cam, but it still has 4 holes that I will not use, that I will need to weld or cap closed. I didn't realize they are on the pics on the website, just figured that since I'm not using them, they would come capped.

At this point I can not recommend this company. Slow to respond Customer Service emails (one was 5 days) and no direct solutions to my questions.

I'm hoping that I'm happy with the bumper in the long run....will be going tomorrow to buy more hardware and looking for some sort of caps.

Has anyone else had issues like this or purchased from this company?

I've got the fad and front and back diff skids. I did not order any of them powder coated as I just rattle canned them. No real communication beyond my order and when the parts slowly shipped but all made it within the 7 weeks.

Very lucky, I'm thinking. Just got into getting further and putting on the skidplate. p11 of the instructions. Bumper is put on on page 7.

Learning that they are connecting the front of the skidplate to the winch mounting bolts! So, to salvage this $1200 purchase, I have to go and source 1/2" longer bolts for my skidplate to connect to the winch. Bad design. If I remove the skidplate to do any work, I have to remove the bumper to disconnect the winch! UNSAT!

Wow does that seem unnecessarily complicated

After much back and forth, NV sent me a full hardware pack. Even with the issues rather than return (which they offered at no charge) I moved forward. With the extra hardware, I was able to finish up the installation.

Despite what they initially told me, I didn't have to remove the bumper, so that was a HUGE relief. I loosened a couple bolts, then using the handy dandy large mallet (not sledge) encouraged it into place.

At the end of the day, I am happy with the stubby look. I don't foresee any tire clearance issues. At the end of the day, I only had to purchase 2 longer bolts for the rear mounts of the winch.

@Rooster31 I would ensure that they have good & clear directions prior to ordering.
