Class C flat towers...

Newbie here trying to gather as much info as possible before my wife and I purchase something that can't flat tow the Gladiator...

I'm looking to get a Class C RV to make my family's traveling experience more enjoyable. However, after searching for a few months, its evident that finding a Class C with a towing capacity north of 6k lbs is hard...and potentially non-existent.

We're trying to avoid going into a Super C or class A.

How do you guys tow your Gladiator? Is there something I'm missing? Do I need to get eyes on the sticker inside the door and do the math myself? Or can the V10s only tow 5K? Or are the RVs we're looking at too heavy to be able to tow 6k?

We've been looking at the Thor 28A recently (30-ish ft).

I also looked into class C with tow specs capable of towing the Gladiator. What I found was that in model year 2016 and each year following the larger Ford chassis class C’s have a tow rating of 7500 lbs. At the time I was looking, a few years ago, I was looking at model years 2017 through 2021. When gas prices jumped I stopped looking. I would like to hear from someone that had the Ford V10 with 7,500 lb. tow rating how it manages with a Gladiator hooked up.

It is not across the board. Ford makes a few different chassis used in the manufacturing of motorhomes. Only the larger chassis (don’t know chassis model number) has the 7,500 lb tow rating. When you see a motor you are interested in do a search on the model # and look at the model specifications. The specifications will state the tow capacity. Many people will tell you that with all the supplies/gear/add ons etc. the motor home will be overloaded when towing at max capacity and they are most likely correct. What I am saying is there are certain class C chassis with a 7,500 lb tow spec.
