Jimmy, does the ground on the 12 pin also get hooked up or just the 8 pin ground? I only ask because you also have the ground highlighted on the 12 pin.

So made the harness off of Jimmy's pictures and instructions and installed it. It works perfectly. The SGW is plugged in, no bypass at all. It is hidden, so no thief will find it to unplug it.

Nicely done. Just don't give details about where you are putting it LOL.
Honestly, nicely done, looks good, and the best part is it looks a lot like factory wiring harnesses. So many home-made things look unlike the factory harness so stick out to anyone poking around.

I am a stickler for looking factory... I used Tesa tape just like factory.
The connections are Soldered and heat shrunk.
There are a few star connector blocks in the jeep. There are some behind the back seat behind the panel... no theif will have the time to take all that out to get to the Tazer. You could also put it under the center console and run the wires to the star connector blocks behind the glove box.. a lot of options.
Only thing I don't know is what would happen if you left the Tazer in while the dealer programs the truck. The SGW is plugged in, so they should be able to program the truck.

So as my luck would have it.. Z-Automotive emailed me back today right after I got done making my harness and installing it.
You can buy the regular Tazer (OBD II Style) and flash it with the JL/JT Mini Tazer firmware. So what that means is if anyone wants to achieve what I did, hidden Tazer without a SWG Bypass, they can simply buy the regular OBDII Tazer, flash it and a double bypass cable and install it in their jeep, ending up with the same results as me...

I just bought a sgw extension cable and cut it up, that is where I got the plugs that go in the Tazer mini… I know you can get the plugs and pins from somewhere (I couldn’t find them) but for me buying the extension cable was the easiest.

Yeah, that's what I did...was hoping for the actual mopar connector, but Ill take what I can get. Thanks man!
