Not sure why... but I just bought pair for me and my wife as well. They're Merrell Moab boots which I love (have low rise of the first generation, high rise of the 2nd gen) and don't have the new designed version of those yet. I'd probrably be buying the moab 3 eventually anyways and it has jeep on it... So randomly just did an impulse buy... ha.

Yeah my thoughts figured jeep events. Used to do a lot of hiking and backpacking. Out of shape for full on backpacking these days spend far too much time at a desk... anyways I'll end up using them on trail as well. They are lighter then my full on waterproof ones and my low cut ones are about ready to be thrown out. Wife laughed at me, as I have a habit of thinking long and hard before I buy something then just impulse bought her and I boots because it said Jeep on it.

I'm actually trying to buy a house soon and we've been penny pinching for several months. My wife wasn't excited I decided to buy not just one but two different color boots..... Because Jeep and Rubicon is written on them.

Can't wait to see pics of you wearing them next time your jeep! Or at least the shoes next to it. Good find on the discount. Military is 25% so guys/gals can use one or the other if possible.

Meh, it's just a marketing gimmick. Like those "Jeep Edition" Midland radios a while back. Slap a name on it and generate some temporary sales.
