I’m looking to replace my current 35’s on my JT Rubicon. I’m staying with the 35’s but I have to change brands because the tires I had to go with last time (due to supply issues we are all familiar with), are wearing down and have become so loud I can hardly hear anything but tire noise once I’m past about 45 mph.
In the past I’ve had General AT2’s on my Wranglers and loved them! Good tires and even as they wore down they stayed quieter than any others I’d ever run (I’m on my eighth Jeep). But the Falken 33’s that came stock on my JT were really good in that regard as well, and I was pretty satisfied with them, also unavailable at the time I got my lift and went to 35’s.
So, since the General AT2’s are now the AT3’s, I haven’t seen or heard much on how loud they are, or how it changes as they wear, nor do I see or hear much on the same issue with the Falken in 35’s. How do these fare now on this issue.
I'm good with either but I’m also open to suggestions on other capable all terrains that don’t drown out all other sounds other than low flying jet aircraft as they wear!!
Replacing Toyo Open Country A/T 35’s.
