I have had the Glad now for 38 days....... Dogs have always ridden in my vehicles...... of course leather is off limits so the rear seat comes out.... pulled seat out last weekend and started my rear seat delete build. I wanted to build this in steps and take my time but that didn't happen.

So finally finished the initial stages of the rear seat delete platform
1. Seats pulled-Check
2. ThinSKINZ installed on rear doors-Check
3. New mounts for platform installed at final height- Check
4. Cardboard cutout design finalized for rear platform(used moving boxes so i would have one box big enough for the entire rear platform-Check
5. rear carpet pulled- Not yet
5. Killmat installed in pan- Not yet
6. Armorlite installed- Not yet
7. take dog to vet when unplanned and only have 2 hours to build basic platform.... Murphy gets a vote lol

..... had 8 hours on the schedule for this week to finalize the mounts and cut the plywood (but of course real life events took most of that time away). My pack was excited about the lack of precipitation the last few days and decided to recreate rugby for dogs. The 2 big ones made poor decisions at the last minute and had a head on while playing in the yard. Had to schedule a unplanned trip to the vet. ( all is well and the middle one (all 100 lbs of him) is on painkillers and antibiotics to help him heal from his hyper extended front right leg..... first day he was really limping... we thought he had broken something...... Xrays and trip to vet said all is well).

I already have Killmat and Armorlite ready to install...but haven't had the time to do that yet.........So rather than plan out my install of the rear platform(already had the mounts installed similar to what
smlobx built in https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/...seat-delete-platform-for-less-than-100.36228/

Except i am building the high version of Goose gear for more storage underneath platform. (this sits at the same level as the top of door net baskets on rear doors )

I ended up rushing to get a basic platform installed for the dogs(no Sides and only 2 2by4 by12 inch legs up front vs a contoured front piece to match the floorplan)....Already have a Dirty Dog divider installed to keep them out of the front. I will post pictures of the platform as i finalize the rest of it (access hatches, Carpet, sides, tie down racks and split of the single build into 40/60 pieces).... Still so much cheaper than Goose gear

Eventual goal is to have platform for dogs in the rear so when we travel they can come with..... right now to put them up in boarding cost more than lodging for us.

Update: I finished the 60/40 split on my GG rear seat delete homemade version. Taking trip after Christmas and need room for human to travel in back seat. I eventually will probably have to take dedicated days off from work to install the Armorlite flooring still in the box.

So before the split one huge platform.

And now I can install one or both. For this trip left 40% in with 60% seat. Also got around to installing threaded inserts into backing to finalize the cargo tie down bars.

My dogs are so Pavlov spoiled... as soon as I grab the Keys or the recycle bin they head for the door.

Awesome. I see also distinction applied have the 24 grilles with paint option. I’m content with my “satin black performance one” but will be interested to see how they come out and what colors people do.
Got the grill installed. Turned out awesome!!

Just bought my first Jeep 2 days ago. Had 19 miles on it and about 550 today.
Loving it and looking forward to getting it dirty.

Absolutely gorgeous! I wish mine had that front bumper. If I can't find a take-off, I'll probably pick up a Rugged Ridge Arcus, which is similar.
