Toggle switch location recommendations?

Anyone have any ideas on where to mount toggle switches that doesn't entail taking half the dash apart?

If you have the inverter you have to locate switch and route wires strategically.

I was thinking about there, but the switches would be hard to see and reach. My original idea was to put them above the left speaker like I did in my JKU, but when I removed the side panel to see what's back there all I found was more side panels. So now I'm thinking of cutting them in below the speaker, but I noticed there's a metal bracket behind it that might get in the way of the right-most switch, which I can live without if need be. Any other thoughts?

@RichJ Are you married to toggle switches? Do something like the Trigger 4Plus Controller mounted under the hood and the you could use the provided RF remote (which can be mounted anywhere or tossed in the armrest) or you can use the SmartPhone app via BT.

I just started my install of this today. It’s the only one that wasn’t in the way of something, and was close enough to the driver, and high enough. I also didn’t want to screw anything into the dash. I already had a red remote for one set of lights, and hated fishing it out of a pocket to turn them on.

I installed three Toggle Switches (that work three different 30amp relays for my three sets of LED lights)
Just under the HeadLight controls, there is enough room behind the switches for the connectors and the wiring.
Remove the piece under the steering wheel.
Unsnap/unscrew the lower end of the piece just to the left of that.
Should be able to pry it up enough to squeeze the switch(s) in there.
If you are 6'3" and have the driver seat all the way forward, your knee may hit the switches.
But I'm not that tall and my seat is pretty far back, Not an issue.
Within reach and the lighted switches let me know which ones are on.

I finished the install of the Voswitch JL400 today, and put two sets of lights on it so far. I’m super happy with the setup. I need to change the backlight color and hook one more set of lights to it, but it’s fantastic.

That's where I wanted to put mine too but I need a space big enough to cut a 2" x 3" hole but without being able to see whats behind there I'm not gonna risk it. Right under the speaker is a possibility though. Thank's for the feedback.

I love mine. The buttons have a really good feel. You can change the backlight color and dimming level.

Do you have any problem accidentally hitting any switches when you grab the handle? Is it easy to install?

Put mine under the factory light switches. This switch pros operates lights only so it is a fitting location.

the real question is what switch option are you going with. Between switch pros, voswitch, regular toggles, etc...theres a lot of options. It also depends on how much you want to spend. Some options have multiple mounting location possibilities, other options only have one or two mounting location options.
