The time has come to get into something different. I found a smoking deal on a TRX and have been trying to get into one for awhile. I also ordered a refreshed Tesla Model 3 this morning for my wife, so definitely need to free up some capital.

Also posted to AutoTrader and Marketplace (haven't yet gotten the prerequisite 1000 questions on Marketplace asking "is this still available?")

What y'all think, too high or what? Any feedback is helpful. I have had basically no movement from neither Auto Trader, Marketplace nor the forum.

What is she worth?

Are you still on the stock axles, just new gears?

It's been talked about since the dawn of vehicles but once you start modding it heavily, the value goes down significantly. Whether you choose to believe that is up to you but historically speaking that's what happens. Jeep people especially would prefer closer to stock so they can build it how they like. It's probably impossible at this point but putting on the stock bumper, smaller lift and tires, and stock wheels would be more preferable to people. Right now you got a monster truck that very few if any across the country are going to want.

Oh, there is also the fact you can buy a brand new Rubicon for under your asking price probably doesn't help either.

ALT2870 makes a good point with resale and mods, you seldom get your money back. Add to that the fact you are running 40s on stock axles, and Gladiators have been 15% off from Jeep for several months, and the market continues to diminish. I have a '21 JTRD CPO with 42K miles that I was considering trading with well over $10K in mods, and it went from $48K trade value in early October to about $40K now.

No mods, that is a mid 30's priced Gladiator at best in today's market. That leaves about a $15K delta that you have to convince somebody to buy your vision of a build and not theirs.

I bet it would move at $40K.

Dang, I guess this means I should jump on the $41k trade offer I just got from a not-so-local JLR dealer.

Thanks for the feedback folks.

If they are not sliding in BS fees or add on's, I would jump on that.

I find these discussions about the value of a vehicle going DOWN with modifications so silly. I have been modifying and reselling vehicles for 25 years pretty extensively and never has value dropped because of a modification, especially when its a Jeep. Will you get all money back? Absolutely not. Will everyone be into buying a modified vehicle? Absolutely not. But what I have learned is that if you're persistent and wait, someone will always come along that wants to remove some of the work themselves and likes how the vehicle is set up.

Have had mine listed here and Marketplace since the beginning of July with no response. Not one.

Now I figured listing it here was a long shot due to most folks coming to this forum already have a Gladiator.

Marketplace however has me a bit perplexed... not only am I not seeing interest in the Jeep but even the Facebook-dipsticks and scammers aren't clicking with their usual silliness.

For comparison I listed my Polaris Ranger for sale about the same time. I had it priced slightly above the market due to it being super clean, heavily modified and to leave room to negotiate... The response to that was immediate from all over the South East and sold it in just a couple of weeks.

Hate youre not getting the response you figured on but youre not alone.
Hope you find your buyer.

Ended up trading to the dealer. Gladiator market is in shambles!

I think there are just too many of them and dealer sale lets lazy people hit the easy button on financing.

To back up this theory, the dealer had my Gladiator sold for $45k within THREE DAYS.
