Driving the other day and Service ESC and Start/Stop Now Working

ESC contantly lit now with the ESS not working. Lights come on now consistently within 1 minute from starting the vehicle.

Started Tuesday. Diagnosed Wednesday. Parts on order are Power Brake Booster, vacuum hose, and the brake booster vacuum hose. Should be in next week.

They said it's cool to keep driving. My concern is on a 25 minute drive, my emergency brake light comes on 1-3 times... lights up, dings once or so, and goes away.
Brakes seem fine however. Should I be concerned of brake failure? I know quite a bit about cars, but clueless when it comes to the vacuum system, not even sure if it connects with the brakes or master cylinder.

Mine did this and the dealer replaced the Aux battery in October. No issues since.

hmm.. interesting. I got two new batteries in April. Gladiator is exactly 1 year old. 14k miles.

Any chance your hood is open (one latch undone)? I had the same message one day and found that the hood being open can cause an ESS fault resulting in a light.

I’m thinking now. It is the vacuum pump. They told me I should be able to drive it. No problem.

However today, five minutes ago driving to work when I hit the brakes. They were very hard to push in the brake pedal. Had trouble stopping in time. Think it’s time to park this joker until the parts come in.
