I'm not a writer so please forgive me. I'd like to lay out my review of my OEM Audio Plus system. I have a 23 Gladiator that came with the so-called Alpine system. I replaced it with the OEM Audio Plus Signature Series. First thing. My inverter module did not fit the way they showed and described in the video that I did watch closely before making my purchasing decision. Secondly. They sent me some Hokie series of still shot photos with some even worse music in the background showing me how to flatten the bracket and fit my inverter. Problem is my inverter is also different than what was in that demonstration as well.

Then after I re-engineered away to mount my inverter. This included a lot of thought. And frustration. Full disclosure I lashed out at the company. I had a sincere apology for them but it did not seem to help their attitude toward me at that point. I'm not the one that misled somebody about merchandise and how it's going to seamlessly fit into my vehicle.
So I finally got it all mounted and you guessed it. It didn't work. To their credit they did troubleshoot it and send me an amplifier. Voila it's working. I was very disappointed with the sound at first. But to be honest my input was likely a good part of the problem. Full disclosure. It sounds great. But maybe not $2,600 worth of great. So when I contacted the company to ask him with help with retuning or maybe to even answer some questions about my inputs. You guessed it, I was ghosted. I'm stuck with and I'm overall okay with the way it sounds. But the company showed their true colors when someone like me challenged them and lost my temper a little bit. I seem to be the only one man enough to come correct. OEM Audio Plus never even offered me an apology for the trouble I was having. Much less a discount to compensate me for re-engineering parts to work the way they should have done. That is what I paid for. They were complete butt heads about the fact that I had the engineer my inverter install myself, A
and alter my vehicle to do so. Enough said. But if I had it to do over again I'd probably put kicker components in my vehicle.

I had mine professionally installed. I have done MANY installs over the years and this was not one I was willing to tackle. I paid 1200.00 for the install. The products were drop shipped to my installer, My install team is a highly qualified custom installer. No mention was ever made on degree of difficulty but it was a full day install. I am SUPER pleased with install and the soundscape is amazing. Sorry you had problems. https://www.audionorthwest.com/

I am in the middle of this installation myself and I’m half tempted to rip it all out and send it back for a refund. What a joke. There definitely isn’t a provision to mount the inverter as claimed in their video. I have no idea what to do or how to mount this. They also didn’t send me the subwoofer cables to even complete the installation. I’ve wasted an entire Sunday and I can’t even put this inverter back in? For those looking at OEM Audio Plus, you’re better off going with something else. This plug and play isn’t what they claim in any way. The jumpers for the speakers don’t even make sense. I wouldn’t be surprised if I get this all hooked up and nothing even works.

Fwiw, I turn wrenches and work on electrical components for Toro Commercial golf and turf equipment. This installation is worse than anything I’ve dealt with on a Toro machine in the past 5 years, and some of that stuff requires fabrication as well…

It didn't work for me. But they did warranty out the amp. I was grateful I had another vehicle to drive. If you decide to stick with it I'll be happy to send pictures or to communicate with you how I was able to mount the inverter. It sounds just good enough after doing some tweaking with my inputs that I am only somewhat satisfied. Probably should have went with kicker. The one thing is that the subwoofer is a winner. Definitely an improvement over the stock system. But by how much is up to the individual ears.
