I apologize in advance for the long post ahead…
I must have said every curse word in the book today trying to install the OEM Audio Plus Signature Series system. It has been an all day nightmare. The video they have on YouTube that makes it look easy was nothing close to the install experience I had. They also did not send the subwoofer cables, so I currently have zero bass at all. A cheap Bluetooth speaker sounds better than this. Yes, the amps are supplying power to the component speakers and they sound worse than the base model speakers they replaced. I will be calling them to address this and get my missing cables on the way. Also, the passenger front speaker sounded immediately blown from the factory. I am not at all pleased with spending the amount of money this system costs to receive the experience I’ve had so far. I am a technician at my job and am very used to removing components and dealing with automotive and power sports electronics. This has been the worst mod I’ve ever done to any of my vehicles as far as installation and results go. I really hope the subwoofer working changes all of this and I also need to figure out the passenger side front speaker issue as well. I will update this post as things progress. OEM Audio Plus has been very helpful thus far and I’m sure their team will get this addressed to a satisfactory result. I have personally heard them in other vehicles and they have always sounded clean and crisp with the perfect amount of bass. Here’s hoping I can get this all dialed in soon.
