I cant recall which speakers mine had where at this point. However I have helped 8 people replace their dash and tower speakers and theyve all been the same. However they were all non-alpine 7" or 8.4". Also are you sure that bottom one is a dash speaker, googling the code says its speaker for the tower.

And regardless of all this they are not alpine speakers. Both sets are mopar neither of which are made or endorsed by alpine. Its really misrepresenting at its best.
Yes, I’m positive one is alpine and one isn’t, as I am the person who removed and replaced them.
Regardless of what part number Mopar stamps on it, rest assured it’s an Alpine unit. Just as the cheap upgrade for the JK soundbar was to use the Dodge Dart speakers. They had a Mopar part number, but were in fact Kickers.
Quite similar to the way Rubicon shocks are made by Fox, but have a Mopar part number.

Had my Heigh10 unit installed a few weeks back and am very happy with it. Only thing I noticed is a roughly 15-20 second delay for the unit to start up once I turned it off with the power switch in the volume knob. Is anybody else experiencing this?

Slow boot-ups are typical for this type of head unit. Especially for those that run Android (which the Heigh10 does).

Mine does the same. Has to do with the boot sequence. Nothing to worry about.

I finally saw the Stinger in our local stereo shop. I wasn't too impressed with the interface. The insane audio unit looks stupid with their logo on it. I really like the new Alpine restyle but not for $2400.

Has anyone found someone review the two head to head? There are a few that review one or the other, very few, but nothing showing the differences. Real world differences. I have not been able to see either one, touch feel. With the Heigh 10 not being any type of water/dust resistant and Stinger not releasing any information regarding possible changes I am leaning towards the JL3001.

The Alpine is nice but not at $1000.00 MORE!
