I opened the hood on my 2021 Mojave today to find that mice had built a nest on top of my main battery. After cleaning it out, I noticed that the small wire which connects to the positive terminal had been chewed in two. I stripped a bit of it, twisted together and taped, but I have no idea what this wire goes to.

Any ideas from those more mechanically inclined?

Thank you, sir. I wondered about that. I had a fella add some fog lights and I will bet that is what it goes to. I wasn't sure if it was a stock set up or aftermarket.
I appreciate it.

Doesn't look factory or aftermarket. It looks more like a hack job. It could be reworked. That wire looks like it could use an inline fuse if something was to happen to that circuit. Can't tell for sure.

I could not imagine being reliant on someone else to mod and know how my vehicle is setup.

Good lesson to learn some basics.
