Happy Wednesday!!

Currently taking custom orders for the 2024 Gladiator.

There's no catch or gimmick. To get a quote started just email a Build & Price from Jeep's website to [email protected].

Just a few quick notes (because I know I'll get asked!)

1 - Our documentation fee is $180.
2 - There are NO mandatory add ons.
3 - There is a Non-Refundable $1000 deposit due at order.
4 - We will get you an electronic signature document with options, pricing, and details for your signature before placing the order.
5 - We do not participate in courtesy deliveries to other dealerships.

I think it goes without being said, but I also want to clarify that we cannot make any guarantees on delivery time frames.

I realize you can use this to price shop your local dealers and I encourage you to do so. I think it's great to support local business. But if you can't get something worked out locally we're glad to assist.

I also want to be an asset to this community on any dealer related questions that may arise as well and be able to add my knowledge to those conversations.

Thanks for the opportunity!

Sounds like they have to make their money on the trade and not on the sale. Buy from them and sell private party. Every dealer rips people off on the trade or the sale to take a gamble on the trade in. Otherwise it wouldn't be worth dealing with the hassle of selling someones mystery vehicle.

Doesn't work in Iowa.
If you sell your trade privately, you'd better figure in getting at least 6% more than they offer just to offset the extra tax.
Here you pay tax on the difference.
If you buy a 60K truck, you pay 3,600 in tax
if you buy a 60K truck but trade in something worth 40K, you pay tax on 20K or 1200
So if you decide your truck is worth 44K and not 40K and sell it, you pay the whole 3600 in tax.
You got 4K more for your truck, but 3,600 of that goes to the state instead of 1200 on just the 20,000 difference.
So you got 4K more, but pay 2400 more in state taxes and end up with 1600 more than their trade offer.

Do the math before you poo-poo trade prices and think "I'll sell it myself instead".
It may work, it may not work.

I was told by another dealer, because of the history of our trades, they know they can flip them fast as certified used Jeep vehicles. They'll often come extremely close to internet offers you get. In fact, I was told another dealer would all but match a high offer I had on my 2022 - missing by only 500 - the thought of paying the extra tax?

I've not checked Granger on what they think of mine. So I can't compare.

Oh for sure! I think a lot of states are like this and you definitely need to factor this into the offer. I think a lot of dealers are offering closer to $10k off of market value right now though. If the numbers match up, then it is way worth not having to deal with selling to someone. I'd gladly lose $2k (outside of the tax benefit) not to have to sell my vehicle to someone and have that easy transaction.

Unfortunately when I was debating to update to a left over 23 model I was offered ~$19.5k for my Jeep by three dealers. I totally understand why they offered that, and also that my Sport having Rubicon axles and Mojave suspension doesn't add value to the dealer, but boy was that a little less than I was even dreaming. My truck isn't a basket case either. 60k miles, still under an extended warranty and needs nothing. 2nd owner, no crashes, some options but nothing special. Shoot, it even has the factory windshield somehow!! haha

In Arkansas we have a 45 day window on either side to use the sale amount to reduce the sales tax even if it's a private sale. If you sell your vehicle a month ahead of time you can take the tax credit or if you sell it after the fact you have 45 days to get the tax credit from the state in the form of a tax refund! I currently have mine in Texas, but when I get ready to either sell or trade, I will trnasfer it to my home in Arkansas so I can take advantage of the tax credit.....,

I did an online trade value check - KBB came up with 30K with a high of 33K.
KBB stinks - they totally lowballed my 2020 back in 2022. They were thousands below reality.

I did my usual digging into other places that buy vehicles, etc.
I got a high offer of 34,700 - same as before Driveway was the high.
A local dealer came within 200 of that for trade allowance - and I keep my tonneau cover, they didn't care if I swapped springs back or not, but he did say remove my winch and bumper and other stuff.
I just decided today to check NADA - which dealers say they go by - has it a bit higher at 37,600 - so I have something else I can throw at them (but trading mine would be a hassle for sure)

So even our dealer is below NADA by 3K

If I could get below invoice and a decent offer on mine - it could get me talking to dealers again, but unless some numbers change, I just don't see it.

I couldn't get an offer like that in my area. I didn't look to travel at all, but did ask the three Jeep dealers here and all were right at $20k basically. I bet there was some haggle in there, but we were obviously too far apart to meet in the middle.

Zack at Granger is the real deal. Granger is very active in the Mustang forums. Granger was offering similar deals on Mach 1 Mustangs when it was nearly impossible to order one at MSRP or lower from most dealers due to Covid shortages. I am not a Granger customer as I was able to swing a similar deal on a Mach 1 order at a dealer about 400 miles from home.

My wife is still not totally pleased that we traded her 1990 loaded Camaro t-top for the 1995 F250 I bought in Granger back then. Once in a while she reminds me that she gave up HER car so I could have my truck back then.
I really didn't have much trouble with that truck, so only went back there once after the purchase.
As we pulled up with the Camaro to pick up the Ford - they ran out with the tools and started swapping plates and so on and it seems our Camaro was basically sold by the time we got it delivered to them and got my truck.

My only negative - went to the shop in about 2018 with the 2004 WJ I bought from my father's estate - he had the FOB for his Jeep in his pocket when he was killed and it was a mess. I had FOBs left from a prior 2003 WJ I had totaled and a brand new FOB I had bought in case those others ended up bad. I asked about programing and their shop guy said it wasn't possible to program any other fobs into a Jeep, said you could only have 2 and so on.
I drove to a safe and lock company and they, in under 5 minutes, programmed my 2003 WJ FOBs in and the new one I had bought - so had 3 working FOBs programmed in.

You are a brave man. I am not sure my wife would let me get away with that! :)

LOL - she knew I needed a truck. We traded my Comanche after we moved from the farm (can't recall what we got - might have been our first Jeep Cherokee Sport) and I had twice borrowed friends' pickups to haul my antique engines to shows and such and that's how that all started. Have not been without a truck since.

Hello Jeep Family

Friendly reminder there is still time to take advantage of the 7% discount on all Jeep Gladiators and Wrangler orders even the 392.

Our process is pretty straight forward. Send in a build to [email protected] and our Jeep team will reach back out with a quote and instructions on how to move forward with placing an order.

All pricing will be signed off electronically at the time of order with options, pricing and details of the order before placing the order with Stellantis.
If the vehicle is being financed, must give us the opportunity to meet or beat financing rate (if we can't meet the financing rate you are receiving, you won't be obligated to finance with us, we just want the opportunity to secure your financing). This does not apply to a cash transaction.
Orders are price protected from the time of order.

We are known for fool proofing this process and making it the most enjoyable easy experience ever.

We will help facilitate pickup from the Des Moines airport.

Thanks for the support

Zach

Granger Motors is definitely legit. We bought a 2022 TRX from them and it couldn't have been easier. No BS tactics or forced financing from them like some other dealers in order to get the
"deal". It was a good purchasing experience with Zach and his team.
