12 months in on the pedal monster for my JT. Before I found the banks I’ve had 3 pedal commanders in 3 different vehicles. The Banks feels much more integrated and provides peddle response that feels as if the JT came that way.

One thing I don't like about the Peddle Monster is the cable being plugged into the OBD II port.

I am going to make a custom harness to wire into the Jeep. I have to call Banks to see if having an "on/off" switch wired in would affect anything. Sometimes my wife drives my Gladiator, and she is heavy on the foot .. I want an easy way for her to turn it off. I was considering wiring the power into the Aux switch. Just a thought..

Some of us have ready-made solutions in the GPS devices many dealers stick under the dash, piggy-backed into the OBD port for power using a pigtail of sorts.
They take the OBD port out of the bracket, plug that harness into the port and stick it up under the dash, the other end of their harness has another OBD port they clip into the bracket. That's how they feed power and ground to the GPD device. You could take such a harness and use it to connect the Banks unit in - remember, it's more than power they take - it's also CANbus for sensing reverse to disable their remapping in reverse, likely other stuff.

I already bought the OBD II T Harness in anticipation of doing that, but decided against it... The Banks only has 4 wires, the CAN Bus wires are no big deal, I can either put a plug on them and plug them in behind the glove box into the Star Connector or solder them into the harness behind the OBD II port and tape everything up with Tesa tape so it looks factory. I am a little OCD about stuff like that.

My biggest question is should I wire the power into the Aux switch. I don't even know if the Aux switch wires are inside or just in the engine bay by the battery.

There's a set inside by the passenger's feet. No need to take it out through the firewall.

I've had both the Banks Product Pedal Monster (used to have a RAM 3500 Cummins) and the Pedal Commander. The things Mr Banks says are true about the voltage and overall feel of PM is better IMO. I think thats because of the calibration element of installation on the PM vs the PC. The PC doesnt do that and it doesnt have as correct a feel IMO as the PM.

Just picked up a 2023 JT HA a week ago and havent gotten around to getting a new PM for it yet (left the old one in my Cummins when I sold it) but that is my intention. Will have to see how that goes with the Tazer as I just ordered that today and I think they share the same ODBC connection port.

The Pedal Monster plugs into the obd II port, tue Tazer Mini plugs into the SGW connection. So as long as you got the Tazer Mini, you are fine.
If you bought the Tazer (the one that goes into the OBD II plug, you would either need to buy an SGW bypass or a Double bypass cable from Z Automotive to use the Tazer the goes into the OBD II plug.

I unplugged the Pedal Monster last week before taking my Jeep in for an air conditioner repair being done at my dealership. They had to order a part so I'm leaving it out until they finish the repair on Friday and I definitely miss it.

I've had both devices but those were both in RAM 1500 trucks. I do still have the Banks device in a box in my garage. I plan on installing it in my Gladiator soon. I liked it. I had no issues with either one but the Banks seems like a more refined version of the Pedal Commander. They certainly do make the vehicle more responsive and fun to drive. Just remember to turn it off when it's raining or you'll spin the tires off the line.

I hardwired the Pedal Monster, way cleaner and I was able to hide the unit in the center. I basically taped into the wires behind the OBDII plug and taped everything up with Tesa Tape, like the factory.
